Ken Taylor N.Z.C.D.(Arch) L.B.P.(Design 2) M.D.A.N.Z. started Designshop Architecture in 1989. Ken was one of the first in New Zealand to use computer assisted design for architecture. He has many years experience in conceptual design, contract documentation, project management, and "hands on" site construction experience across a variety of project types and sizes, including owner/building two houses.

He has obtained various awards for his work. Add in skills in basic structural,fire and MEP design, estimating, procuring, graphic design, landscape design, town planning and resource consents, rendering, videography and photography, and you have a balance of design and practical skills not often found today.

By using Skype and other electronic media we have worked for years covering locations throughout the South Island and lower North island.

Designshop handles new projects, alterations/additions, and a variety of project sizes and complexities from $50k to 8 figures
